St. Germain HC

Having retained the French title, St Germain will hope to build on their run to the KO16 last year as they take on the Euro Hockey League challenge for the sixth time. Hugo Genestet is one of the young stars in the team, helping the French Under-21s to silver at last year's Junior World Cup while towering forward Jean Baptiste Pauchet is another player with plenty of international experience. 

Last year's draw with Dinamo Elektrostal of Russia and close run 3-1 loss to Racing Bruxelles shows they can be competitive though they bowed out meekly to Club de Campo. But, if a favourable KO16 draw comes along, they could well emulate their run to the quarter-finals in the EHL's inaugural season back in 2007/08.
