Dinamo Kazan

Perennial Russian champions, Dinamo Kazan - along with WKS Grunwald Poznan - are one of only two ever-present sides to be playing in their eighth EuroHockey League. They qualified as Russian champions, winning the crown for the 11th time, and so are through to the KO16 stage for the fourth time. 

Pakistani star man Imran Warsi is their penalty corner expert, scoring three times in the Russian finals victory over Izmailovo Moscow. Russian internationals Ilfat Zamalutdinov, Pavel Golubev, Marat Gafarov, Anton Kornilov and Alexey Mayorov all helped their country top the pool at the recent World League round one in Croatia. There is a healthy sprinkling of foreign talent, with Adnan Maqsood and Warsi bringing Asian flair to proceedings.
